A Standard
Sixteen Years
in the Making.
After my cancer diagnosis in 2008, I stepped away from department store perfumes. By 2010, I became a holistic health practitioner and grew more discerning about what I put on my body.
What I could not find was a clean fragrance line that took perfumery seriously. Many cleaner options felt forgettable or like ten variations of lavender. Luxury options were beautiful, but the ingredients were not ones I was willing to return to.
I had worn the top of the line — Chanel, the department store counters, all of it — and I knew what fine fragrance was supposed to smell like. I wanted to recreate that level of sophistication, beauty, and memorability with a more thoughtful ingredient standard behind it.
So I built it.
